This policy is provided by 深圳市点缀文化科技有限公司 (the “Company”, “we” or “us”). It covers device control, lighting, schedules, device management, firmware updates and related technical support in the Arhoma mobile app.
We process information needed to provide these functions and related support. The sections below explain information stored on your mobile device, settings on your diffuser, firmware network requests and information you choose to send for support.
2. Device control and local information
To identify, connect to and manage your diffuser, the app processes and stores the following on your phone or tablet:
Your saved device list, device models, relevant Bluetooth identifiers, and pairing and connection information.
Names you assign to devices, along with device control, lighting and schedule settings.
Language preferences, and app runtime, connection and error records.
This information supports reconnection, display of device status, the controls and schedules you choose, and local troubleshooting. Some device names, control settings and schedules are sent over Bluetooth and stored on your diffuser so that the hardware can operate.
The app does not provide account-based cloud synchronization or its own cloud backup service. Whether an operating-system backup includes local app data depends on the system and your backup settings; see Section 6.
3. Logs, diagnostics and contact you initiate
Automatic crash reporting is disabled. App runtime and crash records are stored locally and are not automatically uploaded when an error occurs.
If you choose to send diagnostics through a technical support tool, submit feedback or contact our support email address, we process the information you choose to provide only to respond, investigate faults and help troubleshoot.
Diagnostics you send may include your phone or tablet model, operating-system version, app version, exception stack traces and a randomly generated installation identifier. Logs you choose to send may also contain Bluetooth identifiers, custom device names or operation records; they are not guaranteed to be anonymous. Emails or feedback you send may contain your reply address, a description of the issue and attachments you add.
Ordinary Bluetooth device control does not need photo-library or camera access. You may attach an image yourself in a support email; this is information you voluntarily provide, and does not mean that the app reads your entire photo library. Review materials before sending and avoid including sensitive information unrelated to the issue.
4. Permissions and your choices
iOS / iPadOS
Bluetooth permission is used to discover, connect to and control your diffuser, and is required for device connection and control. You can allow or revoke it in system settings.
Android
Android 12 and later: the system may require Nearby devices or related Bluetooth scan and connection permissions to discover and connect to your diffuser.
Android 11 and earlier: the system may require location permission or location services for Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) scanning. This is a requirement of older Android Bluetooth scanning mechanisms, and does not mean that the app actively obtains, records or uploads your physical location for diffuser control.
Ordinary device control does not read contacts, microphone content, reminders, motion information, the photo library or the camera.
Revoking Bluetooth or related scanning permission affects device discovery, connection and control. You can still access the app interface, existing local information and local settings. Settings that must be written to the hardware may not take effect while permission is unavailable. You can restore the relevant functions by granting permission again.
Firmware checks and downloads need a network connection. Network connectivity is not listed here as a separate iOS privacy permission prompt; network processing is explained in Section 5.
5. Firmware services and network access
Firmware version checks and update downloads access firmware resources hosted on Alibaba Cloud OSS over HTTPS. A request URL may contain the device model or firmware file path needed to obtain the appropriate firmware information and file.
To complete requests, the hosting provider processes necessary network technical information such as the request URL and source IP address, and may generate access records for service operation and security.
The hosting provider handles this necessary technical information under its applicable privacy and security rules. You may contact us at the email address in this policy to ask about this processing and request assistance.
Emails, feedback or diagnostics you choose to send are transmitted through the corresponding network services. You decide whether to send this support information. Automatic crash reporting remains disabled.
6. Retention, backups and deletion
Data on your phone or tablet
You can remove saved device entries using the app’s existing device-removal action. Configuration, language preferences and runtime or crash records remain on your mobile device until you clear app data through an available system function or delete the app. Removing a device entry does not mean that independent app logs or all settings are deleted.
Your diffuser and system backups
Mobile app data and diffuser data are stored separately. Clearing or deleting the mobile app does not thereby delete schedules, names or other control settings stored on your diffuser. Change, disable or delete them separately through management methods supported by that device or the corresponding controls.
The operating system may back up local app data according to your settings. The app does not provide its own cloud synchronization or cloud backup and cannot control system backups for you. Retention, restoration and deletion of existing backups depend on the operating system and your settings.
If the system offers an option to remove or offload an app while retaining its data, that differs from deleting the app. Use the data-clearing or app-deletion options actually offered by your system when you want to remove local data. Deleting the app does not automatically remove existing system backup copies.
Information you send for support
We retain emails, feedback and diagnostics you choose to send only for the period necessary to respond to support requests, analyze and troubleshoot issues, or meet applicable legal requirements. You can request deletion at the email address in Section 11. We will clarify the scope of the request and handle it under applicable law.
7. Use, sharing and security
We do not sell your information or use the information described above for advertising or behavioral tracking across apps or websites.
Delivering firmware resources and transmitting or handling support information you choose to send may involve relevant service providers processing information within the scope needed for those services. Device control or technical support does not cause us to proactively upload all of your local device configuration or logs.
Where required or permitted by applicable law, we may process or disclose necessary information relevant to a request or legal obligation.
Firmware services use HTTPS. We protect information in a manner appropriate to the purposes of processing. We also recommend using a system screen lock, keeping your phone and diffuser secure, and selecting diagnostic materials carefully.
8. Access, correction and deletion requests
View and edit: existing app screens let you view device information, rename devices, and adjust control, schedule and language settings.
Manage permissions: allow or revoke Bluetooth and related permissions in operating-system settings; see Section 4 for the effects.
Local data: use the app’s existing device-removal action, or system options to clear app data or delete the app, to manage mobile records. The limits are explained in Section 6.
Hardware and backups: settings on your diffuser and system backups must be managed separately; deleting the mobile app alone does not remove them.
Support information: to request access, correction or deletion of information you previously sent, email udukefu@udubeauty.com and identify the relevant communication or diagnostic materials. We will clarify the scope of the request and handle it under applicable law.
Device control does not require an account. You do not need to provide information unrelated to your request to read this policy or ask a privacy question.
9. Minors and use of the device
Minors should use the app and diffuser under a guardian’s guidance. A guardian can contact support if information a minor voluntarily sent needs correction or deletion.
Follow the diffuser’s own instructions and safety requirements. Arhoma provides device control and does not offer medical diagnosis, treatment or claims of medical effects.
10. Policy updates
We may revise this policy as products, services or applicable requirements change, and will update the date shown on this page. We will provide prominent notice of changes that significantly affect the purposes or categories of information processed or users’ rights, and obtain separate consent where required by applicable law.
Past or continued use of the app does not automatically constitute consent to every future additional collection of information or new processing purpose. New processing must follow the actual notice and applicable requirements at that time.
11. Contact us
