This Privacy Policy describes how UDU Beauty ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with your
use of the UDU mobile application (the "App").
The UDU App is designed to work with the UDU Visual Blackhead Remover device (the "Device").
1. Information We Do NOT Collect
We take your privacy very seriously. The core function of the UDU App is to display a real-time video stream from
your Device directly to your phone. We want to be crystal clear about what we do not do:
- No Video or Photo Collection: The App **DOES NOT** collect, record, save, or transmit the
real-time video feed or any images from your Device to our servers or any third party. The video stream is
local, between the Device and the App on your phone via a direct Wi-Fi connection.
- No Personal Data Storage: We do not ask for, access, or store any personal information such
as your name, email address (other than for support inquiries), photos, or contacts through the App.
2. Information We Collect
To ensure the basic functionality and improvement of our App, we may collect a limited amount of non-personal,
anonymous data:
- Device Connectivity Information: The App needs to access your phone's Wi-Fi to connect with
the UDU Device. The App may detect the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) of the Device to facilitate connection.
This information is used solely for establishing the connection and is not stored.
- Technical and Analytics Data (Anonymous): We may collect anonymous technical data about
your device (e.g., phone model, OS version) and App usage (e.g., session duration, crash reports). This data
is aggregated and anonymized, used only for bug fixing and improving the user experience. It cannot be used
to identify you personally.
3. App Permissions
The UDU App requires the following permissions to function correctly:
- Wi-Fi / Network Access: This permission is essential for the App to connect to the UDU
Device's Wi-Fi hotspot and receive the real-time video stream.
- Location (Optional, depending on Android OS version): Newer versions of Android may require
location permission to be enabled to scan for nearby Wi-Fi networks. The App does not use this permission to
track your geographical location.
4. Data Security
Since we do not collect or store sensitive personal data or media files, the risk is minimized. The connection
between your phone and the Device is a closed, direct Wi-Fi link. We still recommend you use the Device in a
trusted network environment.
5. Children's Privacy
Our service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable
information from children under 13.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy
Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
